FALL GOLF CLASSIC - 2010

The Second Annual Fall Golf Classic was held on Thursday, September 16 at Endwell Greens. The day began as a beautiful morning, but by the time the golfers were on the course, the sky looked threatening. Within minutes of the 1 p.m. shotgun start, rain began to fall. It continued for a good part of the afternoon, but the soggy weather did not seem to dampen the spirits of the players. In spite of the rain, there was joking, laughing, and a real spirit of camaraderie. At the conclusion of play, many golfers commented on the great time that they had.

Proceeds from the tournament are approximately $25,000. These funds will assist the Foundation in meeting the needs of the residents of Good Shepherd Fairview Home, Good Shepherd Village at Endwell, and seniors living in our community. We are grateful to the sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and to the businesses that provided support in various ways.
